Timba comes from my homeland, Cuba. Timba is used on the Cuban music to put the extra flavor to it.
I wanna put a flavor of Timba to this space to explain from a unique point of view the assimilation and acculturation phenomenons many of us, immigrants, go through in our new home. These phenomenons impact our lives from an economic, political and social aspect. And so, bringing to you these experiences in a more entertaining way, it is the equivalent on how Timba puts magic to music.
